Administration Decries 'Democratic Hoax' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Images Made Public

House Democrats have made public a additional set of what they described as "disturbing" pictures from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The initial drop of 19 images—some of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 unveiled later on Friday constitute a tiny fraction of the nearly 100,000 images released to the House oversight committee, which is examining the behavior and associations of Epstein.

The disgraced financier was a victim of an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking crimes.

Notable Figures in the Images

Included in the notable figures visible in the opening set are well-known figures including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump is pictured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are obscured.

Administration Response

The White House responded to the release in a official comment, alleging Democrats of purposefully "cherry-picking" the photographs for electoral motives and to "attempt to fabricate a false storyline."

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," an administration official remarked, asserting that "this presidency has done more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have at any point by repeatedly calling for transparency, releasing thousands of pages of papers, and demanding additional probes into Epstein's Democratic associates."

Democratic Lawmaker Statement

The photographs were disclosed lacking captions, but according to a Democratic representative from California and senior member of the investigative panel, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's links with affluent people.

"It is time to stop this White House concealment and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he said in a release.

The publication of these documents occurs alongside the oversight committee continuing its probe into the affair.
