Ultra-Conservative Ex- Legislator J.A. Kast Chosen as Chile's Next President.
Following a conclusive second-round vote, ultra-conservative politician José Antonio Kast has clinched the presidency in Chile.

After more than 99% of polling stations reporting, Kast won 58.17% of the votes, overcoming leftist former minister Jeannette Jara, who received 41.83%.
