Your Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form According to the Zodiac Sign

This return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread enthusiasm within the community. Starting with the gradual reveal of newcomers before the title's launch, to players forming strong opinions on the entire lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.

With numerous of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique designs that emphasize their personalities, one idea came to mind: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and impulsive. This makes Aries far more akin to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when angered. Stay on the friendly side of either and benefit from a strong ally; if you cross them, be ready to face the consequences.

The Bull – Super Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, both in its regular and Super Form, has aided many players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, each the creature and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – whether it's their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their side unwaveringly. The thing about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed passion for snacks. Many previous official descriptions mention their fondness for sweet sap and how it uses its horn to collect it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this absolute queen. You cannot convince me this creature is not the life of any gathering, offering an endless stream of chatter to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their stories. Medicham’s official description also mentions its capacity to foresee an opponent's future actions, which sounds quite similar to a people-smart Twins.

Cancer – Super Manectric

The Crab is commonly regarded as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for frequently getting absorbed in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to fully control,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. It is also known for its capability to create a thundercloud over its very head – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Oh, did you think I was planning to pick Pyroar for the king of the zodiac? Besides the reality that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is obviously Mega Starmie, the star whose gams just went viral for being too glamorous (or terrifying, based on your preference). Fans were captivated from the violet sea star, and that’s precisely the identical energy a Lion brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting signals from its center out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a show, albeit for aliens.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The sign known for being charmingly critical is strongly reflected across this Pokémon’s whole lineage, from a always surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the emoji a Virgo sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than creating a plan.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this gentle, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its ears to tell how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to keep the harmony, there are many Scales who would likely benefit from Super Audino's abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them worry even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through sheer resentment and swore retribution on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio loves karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a show. As a Archer myself, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly small jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “flexes to display its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius match I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the ability to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently believe they’re correct. Interestingly, much like a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to get in on the ground floor of the Mega trend.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Detached element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s dual Ghost/Fire category fits perfectly with this, and the Mega’s general intimidating aura is also extremely Water Bearer. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “draws in hatred and converts it into power.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
